TRUST THE PROCESS…

Consultation & Brief
This is an opportunity for us to meet and discuss your needs and aspirations for your garden and to gain an understanding of your lifestyle. We can take a look at the garden whilst discussing style, material, and colour preferences, as well as considerations or limitations of the site. I can then prepare a client brief and quotation for my design work for your review.
-
Site Survey & Analysis
The survey is an important stage in the process as it ensures that the subsequent designs are drawn acutely for the site. A professional surveyor will be instructed to measure your garden, its boundaries, features and levels. I will subsequently come to do an analysis - recording details of the house and garden, its orientation and access, and to take reference photographs.
-
Design: Concept
I will produce a scale concept plan along with 3D images, focusing on layout rather than specific details. I will take you through the design and gain your feedback.
-
Design: Master
This is the final design package and will include a plan drawing, 3D renders and material choices.
-
Specification
Once we have agreed on the master plan, I will draft the design specification. You will receive a package which includes the setting out plan (detailing exact materials, precise measurements, and levels) and cross sections drawings [if relevant]). You can use these to get quotes from landscaping companies, and once chosen, they will act as their guide to complete the garden project.

Planting Plan & Specification
Plants are carefully chosen to suit your garden’s soil conditions, aspect (sun or shade), your preferences, and level of preferred maintenance. You will receive a planting plan for new and existing flower beds along with a plant schedule which will include image references, names and quantities of the plants. I will source the plants and organise the delivery of these and once delivered I can assist the chosen landscapers to lay out the plants.
